RBS was seeking a rebrand to bolster interest and spread awareness; the name NewOp was selected as it encompasses the company's ideals. The organization seeks to provide employment opportunities for multi-barriered youth ages 16-29, living in the Jane - Finch area that cannot secure mainstream employment due to personal obstacles (criminal record, homelessness, poverty etc), that are currently unemployed or not enrolled in education or training. The campaign, “Turn Obstacles into Opportunities” seeks to target potential Jane - Finch youth employees, as well as business owners and property managers, working to connect the two parties in a mutually beneficial situation.
